The effects continue even 15 years after the introduction of the NMR pipe protector.

Verification of the rust prevention effect of apartment water supply pipes: Introduction of a case study after more than 15 years of implementing the rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" inside the piping!

In August 2001, we introduced the "NMR Pipe Protector" to the Co-op Nomura Minami Ishikiri condominium in Wakabayashi Ward, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture. After 15 years, an investigation into the deterioration of the piping was conducted. The investigation involved removing the water supply pipes on the secondary side of the elevated water tank and inside the residences, as well as the drainage pipes. It was evaluated that "there was almost no red rust due to internal deterioration of the water supply pipes, and there were no blockages; it was confirmed that the surface had turned black and that pipe rehabilitation had been carried out." The condominium's maintenance director stated during an interview, "Not only the water supply pipes but also the drainage pipes have been extended in their lifespan, and there are no plans for updates in the long-term repair plan." He added, "As the building ages, it will only become more financially challenging in the future, so the benefits of not having to update the water supply pipes are immeasurable." *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

NMR pipe protector adopted by Buckingham Palace in the UK for preventing pipe rust.

The NMR pipe protector has been proven effective in preventing red rust on the air conditioning and hot water pipes at Buckingham Palace and has been adopted.

On January 12, 2007, in one of the six pump rooms located within Buckingham Palace, only one pump room supplying Her Majesty's room was equipped with an "NMR Pipe Protector" for the air conditioning hot water piping and the hot water supply piping. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron ion concentration in the circulating hot water of the air conditioning hot water piping for Her Majesty's room was measured at 16.6 mg/L, indicating a high level of iron ions and a significant presence of red rust within the piping. Subsequently, 24 days after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron concentration in the hot water of the air conditioning hot water piping decreased to 0.455 mg/L. The piping was completely protected from red rust by the NMR Pipe Protector, extending the lifespan of the piping, which has been greatly appreciated by those associated with Buckingham Palace for security reasons. *Customer testimonials (customer recommendations) and other PDF materials are currently available for free! *Please feel free to contact us first.

How can the lifespan of water supply pipes and air conditioning chilled and hot water pipes be extended to match the lifespan of the building?

It is possible to convert red rust to black rust without direct contact with the water inside the pipes, preventing red rust and leaks! The red rust prevention device for pipes, "NMR Pipe Protector."

To extend the lifespan of existing piping until the lifespan of the building, if the red rust that occurs inside the piping is converted to black rust without being flushed away, the lifespan of the piping can be prolonged to match that of the building. When extending the lifespan of piping, methods such as cleaning the piping or sandblasting to remove red rust can damage the interior of the piping, reducing its strength. With our internal red rust prevention device, the 'NMR Pipe Protector,' it is possible to convert red rust to black rust without direct contact with the water inside the piping. By utilizing NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance), it is possible to prevent the deterioration of red rust inside the piping and also to rehabilitate and strengthen the piping. It is suitable for preventing red rust in water supply piping (vinyl-lined steel pipes) and air conditioning hot and cold water piping (galvanized steel pipes), as well as for rehabilitating and strengthening piping. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Pipe rust prevention: The British Museum introduces NMR Pipe Protector.

The British Museum prevents red rust in the air conditioning hot water pipes with the red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" and verifies the effectiveness of extending the lifespan of the pipes.

The British Museum has undergone multiple renovations over the years, but the building is over 264 years old. It is an important museum that needs to continue to exist in the future, but the issue of building deterioration cannot be avoided. One of those issues was the concern of leaks due to the deterioration of the heating hot water piping caused by red rust. In March 2016, we verified whether the 'NMR Pipe Protector' is truly an effective measure against red rust in piping by installing one unit on the air conditioning hot water piping and conducting tests on the iron content in the same circulating hot water before and after installation. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the water was very high due to red rust. Three weeks after installation, it measured 3.44 mg/L, and five weeks after installation, it dropped significantly to 0.2 mg/L, proving the effectiveness of red rust prevention as it matched the drinking water standard of 0.2 mg/L. It has been recognized that if the NMR Pipe Protector continues to be used, the lifespan of the piping can be extended to match the lifespan of the building. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

To prevent pipe rust, the London City Hall has introduced NMR pipe protectors.

The London City Hall used the rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" to convert red rust in the hot water supply pipes to black rust, verifying the effectiveness of preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of the pipes.

The "NMR Pipe Protector" has garnered attention worldwide for its ability to solve the problem of red rust. Every morning, red water would come out from the hot water pipes at Guildhall, London. When we measured the iron content in the water, it was found to be 6.36 mg per liter, indicating significant red rust, which is considerably higher than the water quality standard of 0.2 mg per liter based on UK water regulations. Three weeks after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the water was measured at 0.015 mg per liter. This is 1/400 of the iron content before installation, and when measured seven weeks after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, it further decreased to 0.007 mg per liter, which is less than half of the value three weeks prior, proving that the red rust had transformed into insoluble black rust in the water. As a result of the drastic reduction in iron content, the red water was eliminated. The existing red rust was reduced to black rust, which strengthened the piping. As long as the building continues to exist, the piping can continue to be used. Since the red rust problem in the hot water pipes at Guildhall, London has been resolved, a letter of recommendation was issued. *We are currently offering free PDF materials such as customer testimonials (customer recommendation letters)!

Pipe rust prevention, Buckingham Palace in the UK has introduced NMR pipe protectors.

The red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" has protected the air conditioning and hot water piping in the area used by Her Majesty, where it is impossible to update the piping due to safety concerns, from deterioration caused by red rust.

At that time, Buckingham Palace was using galvanized steel pipes for air conditioning hot water piping and hot water supply piping, but due to deterioration from red rust, partial updates to the piping were being carried out in areas outside of Her Majesty's usage. The circulating hot water in these pipes installed for Queen Elizabeth's room had been reddish-brown due to red rust since it was first used. Therefore, to make this reddish-brown water clear and to prevent red rust, as well as to extend the life of the piping, the 'NMR Pipe Protector' was introduced. In the hot water supply piping, the level was reduced from 2.8 mg/L before installation to below 0.018 mg/L, which is less than 1/100, after 24 days, demonstrating the effectiveness of red rust prevention. Additionally, the color of the water became clear, and the NMR Pipe Protector fully exhibited its high performance in preventing red rust. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Pipe rust prevention, a UK five-star hotel has introduced NMR pipe protectors.

The red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" prevents red rust in air conditioning pipes, prevents leaks, and extends the lifespan of the pipes by 40 years.

At the Millennium Hotel London Mayfair, urgent measures were needed to address corrosion due to red rust in the air conditioning hot water piping. The chosen solution was the 'NMR Pipe Protector', which can be implemented at less than one-tenth the cost and has a low environmental impact while preventing red rust early on. Before installation, the iron content in the circulating water of the air conditioning hot water piping showed a very high value of 15.70 mg/l due to the progression of red rust deterioration and leaching. After re-examination six weeks post-installation, the iron content decreased to 0.16 mg/l, demonstrating that the amount of iron leached into the water reduced to about one-hundredth compared to before installation, confirming the effectiveness of red rust prevention. Thus, the water quality of the circulating water in the air conditioning hot water piping recovered to a completely acceptable level. One of the significant reasons for choosing the NMR Pipe Protector is that it is a very eco-friendly red rust prevention device. It can rehabilitate old piping that has been in use for many years, extending the lifespan of the building. Replacing the piping would result in significant CO2 emissions due to the disposal of the old pipes, so the NMR Pipe Protector, which allows for the continued use of old piping, has a very low environmental impact. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Pipe rust prevention: City, University of London introduces NMR Pipe Protector.

The red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" can be installed externally on pipes without the need for water outage work.

In 2013, the "NMR Pipe Protector" was adopted at City, University of London, a prestigious university in the UK. The air conditioning hot water pipes used SGP (galvanized steel pipes), which led to issues such as brown water due to the leaching of red rust and leaks from pipe joints, necessitating urgent measures to address the deterioration of red rust in the pipes. After the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the progression of red rust completely stopped within just two weeks. The iron content in the circulating water within the pipes, which was 3.41 mg/l before the introduction of the NMR Pipe Protector, remarkably decreased to 0.08 mg/l. Theoretically, over 75% of the existing red rust was reduced to black rust by the NMR Pipe Protector. This confirmed the effectiveness of red rust prevention. The black rust formed by the NMR Pipe Protector protects the iron from red rust corrosion, and since black rust has a volume that is one-tenth that of red rust, it strengthens the pipe's durability. Thanks to the rust prevention effect of the NMR Pipe Protector, the air conditioning hot water pipes at City, University of London can now be used for over 40 years. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Reduce the maintenance costs for air conditioning chilled and hot water piping in libraries, museums, etc., to one-tenth or less.

NMR Pipe Protector, a piping rehabilitation device that prevents leaks by preventing red rust in the chilled and hot water piping of cultural centers, libraries, and museums, reducing maintenance costs to less than one-tenth.

Art museums, museums, cultural centers, libraries, and other places frequently visited by the general public and tourists use energy-efficient warm-type central air conditioning. The chilled water piping for this air conditioning is made of galvanized steel pipes (SGP pipes), which, after more than 20 years of construction, undergoes red rust deterioration. When the threads at the piping joints fall off due to red rust deterioration, leaks can occur from these weakened areas during earthquakes and other events. Additionally, red rust deterioration inside the pipes can lead to problems such as reduced heating and cooling efficiency and premature failure of the heat source equipment. The solution to this issue of red rust deterioration inside the pipes is the pipe rehabilitation device NMR Pipe Protector.

It has also been adopted by City, University of London!

Extending the lifespan of piping! Case study of the "NMR Pipe Protector" at City, University of London.

City, University of London is one of the famous universities located in North London, and it uses SGP for its air conditioning hot water piping. The piping in buildings over 40 years old was experiencing red rust corrosion. To completely protect the piping from red rust corrosion, NMR pipe protectors were installed. Before installation, the iron content in the water due to red rust was 3.407 mg/l, but two weeks after installation, the iron content decreased to 0.084 mg/l. This demonstrated that the NMR pipe protectors prevented the occurrence of new red rust in the piping and reduced existing red rust to inert black rust. With the conversion of red rust to black rust, the piping was completely protected from red rust corrosion, allowing the air conditioning hot water piping to be usable for over 40 years. ▼For more details, please see the related link▼

Prevention of red rust and water leakage in the hot water piping of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the UK.

Case study of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel hot water piping.

The Mandarin Oriental Hotel is an elegant five-star hotel located in London. Due to the occurrence of red rust corrosion issues and concerns about leaks in the hot water supply piping (SGP) of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, two units of the red rust prevention and leak prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" PT-75DS were installed at the header section of the circulating hot water piping. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the water within the hot water piping was 13.35 mg/l, indicating significant progression of red rust corrosion. Four weeks after installation, the iron content in the hot water within the piping decreased to 0.0043 mg/l, and further decreased to less than 0.004 mg/l five weeks after installation. This demonstrated that the progression of red rust within the hot water piping was completely halted by the NMR Pipe Protector, and the existing red rust transformed into insoluble black rust in a volume reduced to one-tenth. It has been verified that if the Mandarin Oriental Hotel continues to use the NMR Pipe Protector, all red rust in the hot water piping will change to black rust, and the cost will be less than one-fifth of the cost of pipe replacement work, allowing the piping to be extended for the lifespan of the building. Naturally, leaks will be completely prevented thereafter.

Solving the red rust and leakage issues in the water supply and hot water piping at the Marriott Hotel in the UK.

Case studies of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel water supply and hot water piping.

The Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel, part of the world's largest five-star hotel chain, the Marriott Group, was built in 1878 and has 160 rooms. Due to the use of galvanized steel pipes for hot water and water supply plumbing, very high iron levels were detected before the installation of the NMR pipe protector, with 6 mg/l from the hot water pipes and 3.46 mg/l from the water supply pipes. The deterioration of red rust in the pipes, including red water, was serious, raising concerns about future leaks. To eliminate red water from the water supply and hot water pipes, prevent red rust deterioration, and extend the life of the plumbing, NMR pipe protectors were installed in both the water supply and hot water pipes. Thirteen days after installation, the hot water and water supply samples taken first thing in the morning (stagnant water from overnight) were both clear, and the iron levels in the water had dropped to 0.007 mg/l, completely eliminating red water. The reduction in iron levels prevented the formation of new red rust, and it was demonstrated that the existing red rust in the pipes had transformed into a non-soluble volume of 1/10 of inert black rust. As a result, the formation of new red rust in the pipes was prevented, and the transformation of existing red rust into black rust confirmed the effectiveness of the NMR pipe protector in preventing red rust and extending the life of the plumbing.

Solving the red rust and leakage issues of the air conditioning hot and cold water piping at the Millennium Hotel in the UK.

Case study of introducing NMR pipe protectors for preventing red rust and extending the lifespan of hotel water supply piping.

The Millennium Hotel London Mayfair is a historic building located in the heart of London, overlooking Grosvenor Square, which was once the residence of the Duchess of Kendal in the 18th century. To address issues of red rust and leakage in the air conditioning hot water piping, the "NMR Pipe Protector," a rust prevention and pipe longevity device that does not require pipe removal or water shutdown during installation, was installed. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the air conditioning hot water piping due to red rust was very high at 15.7 mg/l, indicating significant red rust deterioration and concerns about leakage. To prevent this red rust and leakage, the "NMR Pipe Protector" was introduced. Six weeks after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the test results of the air conditioning hot water showed that the iron content in the water had significantly decreased to 0.157 mg/l, completely preventing new red rust in the air conditioning hot and cold water piping, and it was proven that the existing red rust had transformed into black rust, which is insoluble in water and has a volume one-tenth that of red rust. If the NMR Pipe Protector continues to be used, it has been demonstrated that all red rust in the piping will transform into black rust, preventing external corrosion and leakage, thereby extending the lifespan of the building.

[NMR Pipe Protector Verification Results] St. Ignatius Church

A case where it was confirmed that the red rust inside the piping is in a good condition and not dissolving in water!

St. Ignatius Church, also known as the Catholic Kojimachi Church, is a historic church adjacent to Sophia University that has existed since before the war. Four years ago, due to the deterioration of red rust in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping, we conducted an evaluation of the rust prevention effect of the "NMR Pipe Protector," a device designed to prevent red rust within the piping. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, we collected samples of the circulating chilled and hot water, which showed a brownish color. Water quality tests revealed a total iron concentration of 240 mg/l, indicating significant progression of red rust corrosion within the piping. After installing the NMR Pipe Protector, we conducted another water sampling test two weeks later, and the water color had become nearly transparent, with the total iron concentration due to red rust reduced to 2.7 mg/l, a substantial decrease. At the same time that the progression of red rust had stopped, the surface red rust within the chilled and hot water piping and the red rust in the water transformed into a non-soluble black rust, confirming the rust prevention effect of the NMR Pipe Protector within the chilled and hot water piping. This result was featured in an article published on July 18, 2018, in issue 2737 of "Air Conditioning Times," which reported on the verification of the rust prevention effect of the NMR Pipe Protector at St. Ignatius Church.

[NMR Pipe Protector Verification Results] BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation)

Verification of rust prevention effects in the air conditioning piping of the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation)! Preventing the occurrence of new red rust and converting existing red rust to black rust, demonstrating the extension of piping lifespan.

After 53 years since its construction, the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) has been experiencing serious deterioration of its cooling water piping due to the use of SGP pipes, leading to frequent leaks and significant rust issues. To prevent leaks caused by rust deterioration and to extend the lifespan of the piping, four "NMR Pipe Protectors" were installed in the cooling water systems of the Main Block Building and Stage 5 Building. In the Main Block Building, the iron concentration in the water was 5.53 mg/l before the installation of the product, but it significantly decreased to 0.048 mg/l after 32 days and further reduced to 0.06 mg/l after 57 days. In Stage 5 Building, the iron concentration in the water was 3.8 mg/l before installation, which decreased to 0.063 mg/l after 32 days and to 0.008 mg/l after 57 days. Additionally, there have been no leaks reported after the installation. The prevention of new rust formation and the transformation of existing rust in the piping into insoluble black rust in the water have resulted in a reduction of iron concentration, demonstrating that this cooling water piping can be extended to the lifespan of the building. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

[NMR Pipe Protector Verification Results] Windsor Castle

Preventing red rust deterioration of the hot water piping at Windsor Castle in the UK!

The hot water supply pipes used in Windsor Castle, owned by the British royal family and with a history of 900 years, utilize SGP pipes. To prevent red rust deterioration and extend the lifespan of the pipes, an NMR Pipe Protector was installed on January 24, 2007. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, the iron content in the water in Room 107 was 3.32 mg/l, but 42 days after installation, it dropped to 0.007 mg/l. Additionally, the average iron content from two other sampling locations was 4.255 mg/l before installation, but decreased to 0.0105 mg/l after installation. This is significantly lower than the drinking water quality standard set by the UK, which is 0.2 mg/l. As a result, it has been demonstrated that the NMR Pipe Protector effectively prevents the occurrence of new red rust within the pipes and transforms existing red rust into black rust, which does not dissolve in water. By continuing to use the NMR Pipe Protector, the hot water supply pipes have completely eliminated internal red rust deterioration and, by preventing external corrosion, have become usable for as long as the building remains standing.

[NMR Pipe Protector Verification Results] Lions Mansion Koshigaya North

Proving rust prevention effects through a 10-year post-installation effectiveness evaluation!

This property has been in existence for 30 years, and the red rust blockage in the water supply pipe joints has progressed significantly. Therefore, the "NMR Pipe Protector," a device for preventing red rust in pipes, was adopted. When measuring the red rust blockage in the water supply pipes of Room A and Room B, it was found that before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, Room A had a blockage rate of 43.2% and Room B had a blockage rate of 50.9%. 【Red Rust Blockage Rate One Year After Installation】 Room A: 41.7% Room B: 50.6% 【Red Rust Blockage Rate Five Years After Installation】 Room A: 39.7% Room B: 49.8%, showing a reduction improvement rate of 8.1% and 2.1% compared to before installation, respectively. 【Red Rust Blockage Rate Ten Years After Installation】 Room A: decreased to 36.8% Room B: decreased to 37.5%, showing a significant reduction in red rust of 48% for Room A and 26.3% for Room B compared to before installation. From these results, it was confirmed that the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector halted the progression of red rust deterioration in the pipes, and the existing red rust was reduced to black rust with a volume of less than 1/10, demonstrating the effectiveness of pipe rehabilitation and red rust prevention.

U.S. patent obtained for pipe rust prevention, NMR pipe protector popular in the UK.

Introducing examples of the red rust prevention effects of the "NMR Pipe Protector" in pipes in the UK!

The red rust prevention device for piping, "NMR Pipe Protector," has obtained patents and registrations in the United States and major countries around the world after undergoing rigorous patent examinations abroad regarding its practicality and other factors. On February 16, 2004, the first installation in the UK was at Addenbrooke's Hospital, affiliated with the University of Cambridge. The NMR Pipe Protector holds a patent in the UK and established its reliability through presentations at conferences related to "corrosion," leading to its installation based on a recommendation from the University of Cambridge. At Addenbrooke's Hospital, the hot water pipes experienced leaks due to bacterial corrosion and red rust deterioration just three years after the piping was updated. However, after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, red rust in the galvanized steel hot water piping was prevented in just 11 days. The iron ion concentration due to red rust in the hot water decreased from 1.07 mg/L before installation to 0.188 mg/L after 11 days, falling below the water quality standard of 0.2 mg/L. This change, where the red rust in the hot water pipes transformed into black rust with a volume reduction of one-tenth, verified the red rust prevention effect of the NMR Pipe Protector. 【Case Studies (Partial)】 ■ Addenbrooke's Hospital ■ St Thomas' Hospital ■ Harrods Department Store ■ BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation)

Extending the life of apartment water supply pipes is achieved by converting red rust to black rust.

The piping internal red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" reduces red rust in the water supply pipes of apartments to insoluble and passive black rust, extending the lifespan of the building.

In addition to pipe rehabilitation, there is the "NMR method," which uses our internal rust prevention device, the "NMR Pipe Protector," to reduce red rust to insoluble and passive black rust in water. Vinyl-lined steel pipes are commonly used for condominium water supply piping, where the straight sections do not deteriorate from red rust, but only the joints do. By converting this red rust to black rust, pipe renewal becomes unnecessary, reducing costs to 1/5 to 1/10. The NMR Pipe Protector utilizes free electrons in water to convert internal red rust to black rust. Since the NMR Pipe Protector is installed on the outside of the pipe, it does not come into direct contact with the water inside, making it hygienic and safe. Through on-site surveys by our technical workers, we can implement our product at suitable installation locations, allowing for appropriate pipe rehabilitation throughout the entire piping system. The NMR method has obtained a patent as a groundbreaking pipe rehabilitation technique and has been presented in research papers at the "Asia-Pacific Corrosion Society" and the "Japan Society of Corrosion Engineering," receiving positive evaluations. It has been highly regarded for its water quality safety and has been adopted in many renowned hospital facilities around the world. The NMR Pipe Protector comes with a rust prevention effect guarantee, so you can implement it with confidence. *For more details, please refer to the PDF or contact us.*

The apartment water supply pipes are prone to leaks due to deterioration from red rust, and you may not even notice it!

By protecting only the joint parts of the water supply pipes in the apartment with the red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector," pipe replacement is unnecessary.

The water supply pipes in buildings such as condominiums are made of vinyl-lined steel pipes, so the straight sections do not deteriorate; only the joints experience red rust deterioration. Since there is no change in the color of the water coming from the faucet and no red water is produced, it is difficult to notice the red rust deterioration inside the pipes. Our company will first conduct an on-site inspection using an endoscope to investigate the customer's red rust deterioration status, and based on that, we will propose the optimal introduction of the "NMR Pipe Protector." With this product, it is possible to prevent red rust deterioration throughout the entire piping, including the joints. By introducing this product, we can eliminate the need for piping replacement costs, which can be a significant financial burden for customers within limited repair budgets, and extend the life of the existing pipes for over 40 years, thereby prolonging the lifespan of the pipes until the building's lifespan ends. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

The "seismic strength" of water supply piping deteriorates over time due to the loss of thread integrity.

The red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" prevents the reduction of seismic strength in water supply and air conditioning pipes by converting red rust into hard black rust.

The exterior of the building does not reveal the condition of corrosion deterioration of the threads. If corrosion deterioration of the threads progresses unnoticed, it can lead to pipes coming loose and causing water leaks due to shocks during earthquakes. To maintain the seismic strength of the piping, it is necessary to perform rust prevention treatment inside the pipes before the threads deteriorate due to red rust. Our internal rust prevention device, the 'NMR Pipe Protector,' can improve various red rust issues inside the pipes by reducing red rust to black rust. Not only does it provide rust prevention effects, but the transformation of red rust to black rust also strengthens and rehabilitates the piping. For the safety of our customers, it is advisable to recheck the seismic strength of the building's piping and take prompt action to prepare for earthquakes at any time. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Cosmo Kajigaya Le Seine has introduced NMR pipe protectors to prevent red rust in piping.

The management association of "Cosmo Kajigaya Le Seine" has verified the prevention of red rust deterioration in water supply pipes using the red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector," ensuring long-term pipe longevity.

In the condominium "Cosmo Kajigaya Le Seine," which introduced the NMR Pipe Protector, polyvinyl chloride lined steel pipes (VLP) were used for the water supply piping. Polyvinyl chloride lined steel pipes (VLP) are pipes that are internally coated with polyvinyl chloride. The joint sections of the piping deteriorate due to red rust, but the straight sections are excellent in durability and corrosion resistance, and are currently used in most buildings' water supply pipes. However, this water supply piping has high maintenance costs, and after several decades of installation, measures against water leaks due to red rust at the joints are necessary. Many water supply pipes experience issues such as red rust blockage at the joint sections, water leaks, and deterioration of water quality after twenty years. The NMR Pipe Protector converts red rust into black rust, resolving these issues. Unlike pipe renewal work, the NMR Pipe Protector can be installed without water interruption, transforming the red rust inside the water supply pipes into black rust that strengthens the piping. By introducing the NMR Pipe Protector, red rust becomes inert black rust, extending the lifespan of the piping by over 40 years. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Pipe rust prevention: The Royal Bank of Scotland introduces NMR Pipe Protector.

The Royal Bank of Scotland confirmed the rust prevention and lifespan extension effects of NMR pipe protectors for air conditioning pipes, reducing pipe replacement costs to less than one-tenth.

As an example of the introduction of the "NMR Pipe Protector," we would like to present the case of the Royal Bank of Scotland. Branch 250 had been in operation for 18 years and was facing issues with red rust in the air conditioning hot water piping. Due to the high cost of rust inhibitors and the shift towards environmental considerations, the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed in the air conditioning hot water piping in March 2018. As a result of the installation, the iron content in the hot water, which was previously 1.10 mg/L due to red rust, was re-examined nine weeks after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, revealing that the hot water was clear and the amount of dissolved iron had decreased to approximately one-third, or 0.41 mg/L. The progression of red rust within the piping also stopped, and the red rust had transformed from a surface state to black rust. The NMR Pipe Protector successfully resolved the issue of red rust dissolving into the water and halted its progression. There is now no longer a concern about the acceleration of piping deterioration due to red rust. Additionally, the coating of black rust has a reinforcing effect on the piping, and it is expected to extend the lifespan of the piping to match that of the building. *Customer feedback (customer testimonials) and other PDF materials are currently available for free! *Please feel free to contact us first.
